方秀英（李嵐 飾）是紡織車間的一名女工，她和男友曾強（毛永明 飾）相戀多年，就等著單位給他們分配房子后就打算結(jié)婚。方秀英是一個非常善良而且樂于助人的姑娘，一次，她和男友到城隍廟買衣服，偶然撿到了一個無家可歸的孩子，方秀英堅持要幫助這個孩子尋找家人，可是她的好心卻并沒有換來嘉獎，反而被誣陷成為了偷孩子的小偷，可是這一切對于方秀英來說都不是個事兒?！ ≈螅S發(fā)生火災(zāi)，方秀英冒著生命危險關(guān)掉了電門撲滅了大火，成為了救火英雄?？墒侵螅齾s亦被懷疑成為這場火災(zāi)的肇事者。因為這件事情，曾強和方秀英之間大吵了一架。
